Siargao Island, Philippines
One island. One day. The version no resort will ever show you.
What is the loop
Most people come to Siargao and never leave Cloud 9. The Siargao Loop takes you somewhere different — the wild, untouched north of the island that locals know and visitors never find.
You ride with us through jungle roads and coastal cliffs, surf a secret break, crawl through a hidden cave, watch the sun drop into the Pacific, and sleep under more stars than you've ever seen, bonfire burning beside you.
↑ The road through the island. No tour buses. No itineraries. Just open road.
The route
We begin at the northern tip. An old lighthouse, a wild coastline, and the whole Pacific stretching out in front of you. This is the part of Siargao maps don't bother with.
You won't just look at this cave — you'll go through it. Headlamps on, wade through the dark, emerge dripping on the other side. It's the kind of thing you'll be telling people about for years.
We hit a break the resort crews don't know about. Whether you've never stood on a board or grew up in the water, this one's for you.
A hilltop perch above the whole island. Ocean on every side. The light goes gold, then orange, then red. You'll understand why people never leave Siargao.
The part of the island most visitors never see. Village life, jungle roads, coastal cliffs — the real Siargao rolling past at 40km/h with salt in the air.
The north of the island. A fire on the sand. Stars overhead that you forgot existed. The kind of night where strangers become friends and nobody checks their phone.

What riders say
I've been travelling for eight months and this was genuinely the best day of the whole trip. The cave alone was worth it — coming out the other side dripping wet felt like something out of a film.
Not what I expected at all — way more raw and real. It actually felt like riding with friends who knew every secret corner of the island. The bonfire at the end was something else.
The sunset lookout broke me. We'd just surfed and driven through the jungle and then suddenly you're standing above the whole island watching the sky go orange. 2300 pesos was nothing.
I can't surf and I'm claustrophobic. Did every single thing on this loop and loved all of it. The strangers we were with by midnight felt like people I'd known for years.
